Divi Dead is the first horror hentai game made by Cware. The japanese version has release for around a year and the english version has just release a few month ago (around December). I didn't have a chance to check out the English. However, for me I would rather play the japanese version because the english translation is usually pretty bad.

You control a guy name Ranmaru Hibikiya. The game start off with a movie about the dream he has. You will also learn that he spend most of his childhood in the hospital. In his dream, he saw himself got killed by a man. The story take place in a private school, Asao which is owned by his uncle. The school itself is like a prison, which surround with woods. One month ago, his uncle offered him enrollment at his school. He has been out of school for such a long time, so he accept his offer. His uncle also wants him to keep an eye on the school and report to him about the students' behavior once a week.

Once Ranmaru Hibikiya arrived the school, he notice there was violence and misconduct in the school. He also notice his memory is very confusing and wired things happen to him so often.

As the story go deeper, all the strange things happen in the school will relate back to his dream and he will discover his horror fate.

The game is all played in first person. In town, you choose where to go, and who to talk to. When you go into a dungeon, or anywhere where there are enemies, the game is basically a walk around. You use the arrow keys to move in the direction you want to move in. The screen shows a compass showing what direction you are going, and two sets of numbers that basically say how far you are from an exit. The levels are like mazes, and some take some wandering around to know where to go

The game is generally about a warrior who searches the lands to destroy evil and to search out sexy, scantily dressed women. As the regular RPG goes you browse around the world you're given in search of weapons, items, treasures, enemies to fight and so forth. You also gain party members to help you in your journey; you can have up to three. Throughout the chain of events, whenever you defeat a considerable threat or evil you end up savinga sexy girl

The story is about the Prince of darkness is bringing darkness over the many kingdoms all over the world. At the same time, a young boy sets out for his journey in becoming a true knight. Over the course of events, he vows to kill the prince and revive all the people that are put to stone by the black fog. On his way to the castle, he meets many companions that also wants to get rid of the evil lurking in the world. Just when you think you beat the Prince, think again. Because he will use his magic to turn everyone to stone and imprison you. Then you start the game over as a mysterious knight that goes back into the past and change your defeat.
